In stark contrast

What a beautiful day to be out and about fitting Barn owl nest boxes. In stark contrast to yesterday's winter wonderland high up in the Black Mountains.

Alex Powell and I managed to fit two internal nest boxes at two really nice locations in the Devauden, Trellech area. The first box was fitted inside a big steel barn with the second fitted in a lovely old stone building that was once housed a cider press. High hopes for both these lication so fingers crossed.

A little bit annoyed with the third location with a time agreed and what would have been  Barn Owl and Tawny owl boxes fitted. Unfortunately the owners popped out and missed our visit.
