A welcome donation

My good friend and well known local businessman Sean O'Connor donated 3 sheets of marine ply and a large collection of screws today.

Sean follows my conservation project with interest and has recently started his own nest box project after acquiring some woodlands behind his home in NewInn village.

It has been a real honor advising and constructing nest boxes for Sean and listening to his vision he has for his new piece of land has reinvigorated my passion for conservation, not that I needed reminding though.

I have constructed 2 Tawny owl nest boxes for Sean and they will receive 3 coats of paint and the roof fitted over the weekend. Hopefully we can get these fitted over half term weather permitting of course.
