Another very productive morning
Very productive morning out with my good friend Alex Powell . We managed to erect 10 small Pied and Spotted flycatcher nest boxes on difficult terrain but perfect wooded area for both species.
We also checked on a couple of Barn Owl nest boxes with Owls actually inside the nest boxes. The last Barn Owl nest box we checked on actually had a big female Tawny owl sat inside. It does look like she intends to nest in this particular nest box with nesting material built up with a cup formed in the middle.
