This morning I managed to get 3 bat nesting boxes made despite the awful weather I had to contend with. Thankfully the car port served its purpose in keeping the materials dry for me to rip down to size.
These are called multi chamber bat boxes with 3 seperate chambers in total. The bats land on the ply and actually climb up the corrugated part and into chambers. They hang on to the corrugated slots inside the chamber in almost complete darkness and out of any prevailing wind.
