Blackbird and Songthrush nests

Lovely walk this morning with my Springer Spaniel in tow. She has become a really good bird nest locator which is great for me to monitor Bkackbird and Song Thrush In my local Woodlands.

Here are a few images of Blackbird nests all at different stages. Nice to see a female sat on eggs and in another nest my first Blackbird chicks of 2022. The song thrush nest with 3 eggs was about 2 foot off the floor and one of the Blackbirds nest was literally on the floor.
